Thank you…

Just wanted to shout out a ‘thank you’ to everyone who came to visit and stayed for a bit here on my blog this week, I’m overwhelmed by the response from the #newquiltblogger2018 blog hop, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading all your comments, and picking up some great quilting tips. I loved hopping around myself and meeting the other bloggers involved this year, I cant wait to catch up with more of you over the coming weeks, and look forward to more advice and help as we go through the year together

My sewing/quilting always comes to a sloooowwwww pace during the kids school holidays, so I’m enjoying ramping it back up, now they are off to school, I’m busy with a few things, (can you believe we are almost at the end of April already)

I’ve been playing around with some new software ‘EQ8’ and I’m really enjoying it, this is the first time, I’ve ever used a quilting program, I love how easy it is to use, and the free lessons, I’ve also found some great video tutorials on YouTube.

I’ve designed a quilt pattern using the new fabrics ‘by the pond’ from Craftcotton, which will be available FREE on their blog real soon – the fabrics are so pretty…

I’ve also been busy designing a couple of quilt patterns for RJR fabrics too, using some of their new collections ‘Panorama’ and ‘Eclipse’ which I’m super excited about.

Well these quilts wont make themselves  – thank goodness
